Merry Christmas

23 December 2023

Dearest Brothers and Sisters,

We hold you especially close to our hearts during these Christmas holidays, in Jesus Christ. His Love transcends all boundaries to bring us joy and Salvation. Let us put Him at the centre of our attention so that we are filled with His Love that bestows us with happiness.

Even though our humanity finds itself immersed in the darkness, Jesus’ Love makes His words resound within us: “Blessed are the poor … blessed are those … “ (Mt 5, 3-11). Remember the words Jesus said to St. Paul: “And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way” (Eph 1,22-23).

The two of us are withdrawn into silence and prayer; together with the extraordinary instruments and the Church of the whole Universe, praying and loving God, suffering and struggling, we face all personal difficulties as well as those of all humanity. This allows us to experience the beatitudes of the Gospel in every situation we experience in this time.

Jesus is among us in His glory İn His INTERMEDIATE PRESENCE – which is much more than a promise – to help His people and prepare them for the events that await us. Now more than ever, let us be close to Him, who is present in spirit, and keep our lamps lit (Mt 25, 1-13), while awaiting His glorious manifestation that will open the doors of the new creation to us. The prophet Hosea asserts:

“Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth” (Hos 6,3).

We greet and bless you with sincere love, wishing you a Holy Christmas and a New Year full of light, peace and grace.
