Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire

In her book, Beyond the Great Barrier, Stefania Caterina writes the following:
An extraordinary form of help granted by God
I believe this subject of baptism to be extremely delicate and important, I would go so far as to say it is fundamental if we are to come to understand God’s plan to unite the whole of humanity, the living and the dead under one Head, Jesus Christ1.
From the initial experiences that I had with them, the souls of purgatory asked to be able to receive baptism. If this request was particularly alive in aborted babies, it was also alive in the souls of adults who died without baptism. But the request for baptism also came from the souls of the living who came to me in spirit, according to God’s will, to receive baptism, as well as to be helped with prayer.
I asked myself why God’s mercy was not sufficient for these souls, and how to baptise them. I was aware of the fact that the Church teaches that the sacraments have to do with the living. Nevertheless, having recalled the experience of Saint Peter in the house of Cornelius2 and urged on by the power of the Spirit, I immediately began to baptise, as I was taught to do. I chose a male or female name, or both according to the number of souls present, for example, Mary or Joseph. I made the sign of the cross three times, saying: “Mary, Joseph, I baptise you, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”.
I could not nor did I want to oppose God’s action. Besides, the more I continued, the higher the number of souls who came to me to ask for baptism. In turn, those who received it got others involved. For example, a woman who was baptised got her children, her husband etc…involved, forming a veritable chain. The more I baptised, the more I freed myself from many burdens and received real help from those souls. They often returned to thank me for having gone to heaven thanks to the baptism received, and they promised me prayers for eternity. During that period I had some truly extraordinarily intense experiences. As the experiences continued and became more and more intense, I was given explanations, about which I can refer the essential contents.
I was clearly told that no soul enters paradise without having received baptism. Without the forgiveness of original sin, the soul cannot fully participate in Trinitarian life. Moreover, without baptism, many dead people would be deprived of the grace that is essential for their spiritual journey, risking remaining in purgatory forever. This would end up flowing out on the living, who would inevitably feel the immobility of purgatory.
In the beginning I used to ask myself how to baptise with water, and what type of baptism we were dealing with. Saint Raphael explained to me on several occasions that it is not specifically a rite, but the extension of a baptismal grace to the living and the dead. This happens in the power of the fire of the Holy Spirit, through the members of God’s people. This is a baptism that draws strength from the mystical union of God’s people with Christ’s sacrifice, and it makes the fire of the Holy Spirit descend powerfully. It is a special grace, granted by divine mercy, which is inserted into the framework of the great events awaiting humanity, which I will deal with further on. This grace requires souls to offer themselves to Jesus, through Our Blessed Mother Mary, that is, full participation in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, to be united with Him mystically for the whole of eternity.
Jesus told me that baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire precede his second coming, as the baptism of penance of John the Baptist preceded his first coming. It represents the necessary preparation of God’s people, so that they might welcome him as a glorious Saviour. For this reason, the grace of God will act powerfully to stir up the desire for this baptism within souls more and more. Not even a soul will be left without it if they want it. God’s people will be educated by the Holy Spirit to impart this baptism to the souls that want it. This is God’s wish, Saint Raphael explained to me that the souls of purgatory that want baptism, truly desire it and they are prepared to receive it through a serious journey of renunciation and donation.
From the explanations I received, I understood the following:
-
Baptism is the essential gateway for becoming members of God’s people – the Church. The souls who present themselves, affirm that it is not possible to fully experience the grace of salvation without baptism. This baptism was defined by Jesus himself, in my experience, as baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire3.
-
Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire does not replace or deny the sacrament of baptism normally administered by the Church. It is an extension of the baptismal grace foreseen for those who cannot, for the most varied reasons, receive baptism in an ordinary manner.
-
It was explained to me that baptismal grace also operates through the baptism of desire and that of the blood, but that desire or blood alone are not sufficient, if the offering of life is missing. The soul must adhere fully, by means of its offering, to Christ’s sacrifice; only in this manner will it receive the fire of the Holy Spirit, which sanctifies the offering, and operates in the desire and in blood. In this way, the soul inserts itself fully into the Easter passage.
-
It is also a fundamental duty of the Church on Earth, as well as the annunciation of the death and the resurrection of the Lord4. The whole universe is waiting for this fire of the Holy Spirit to be unleashed from Earth and flared up everywhere.
-
I was also told that we living beings are too attached to the symbolism of the water, but that baptism is the work of the Holy Spirit. I was told that the life conditions on certain planets are different, so much so that on certain planets it is difficult to find water and it is not as readily available as it is on Earth.
-
This baptism is an extraordinary form of help, granted by God with the aim of reaching all men of good will, living or dead as they may be. It is linked to the offering of life made by God’s people, in union with Christ’s Sacrifice, and it leads souls to a mystical union with Christ.
-
The rite of baptism with water cannot reach everyone, baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire can. Everyone must receive baptism with fire, as Jesus Christ received it, passing through death and resurrection. “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed”5. Fulfilling the Easter passage, with a sense of faithfulness to the Father, we are also filled by the fire of the Holy Spirit, which joins us mystically to Christ.
As a confirmation of these explanations, I was able to verify on several occasions that baptism alone is already able to release many souls, freeing them from fear and oppression. But it is also the beginning of a new life in Christ, not only for a soul but for many other souls linked to it, often for entire populations. In fact, many souls of people who died in eras that are now gone by, have come to me and asked me for baptism. They wanted to embark on a journey in Christ, not only for themselves but also for their descendants and their peoples.
I recall one case in particular that I was presented with. It was a very famous historical figure, who was considered wise and righteous by everyone. Despite his human value, he asked for baptism and he affirmed that without Jesus Christ you cannot enter the light. He came in the name of all the righteous of purgatory who have not yet been baptised. He said that God wanted these righteous people to become chosen through baptism, witnesses of the life of Christ. He wanted to offer himself for his people. He asked to receive the name Joseph, to keep the life of Jesus Christ alive within himself, in favour of his people.
There is no shortage of cases of living people who presented themselves in spirit, asking for baptism, and the motivations behind such a request were always the same: to enter into the life of Christ, into true life, into the light. Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire therefore touches the living and the dead, without any differentiation, because God does not distinguish between his children.
“In Jesus Christ there is no difference between the living and the dead. Grace is grace and it does not encounter obstacles in the fact that the body exists or not. It seeks out the life that lies in the depths of the soul, in the spirit of man which is eternal, where the Holy Spirit lies”.
(Saint Raphael the archangel, 7/4/2007)
This baptism is the passage for those who wish to live the Christian life fully.
“Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire do nothing other than confirm the soul’s decision to adhere to Jesus Christ and his teaching, through the grace that it is the instrument of. Those who truly want it therefore, do receive this baptism, in full awareness and freedom. God does not allow anything superficial. The souls that receive this baptism, are souls that have decided to live for Jesus Christ, by means of giving themselves, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. They arrive at this decision, often after great trials and sufferings. Baptismal grace intervenes to confirm their decision”.
(Saint Raphael the archangel, 7/4/2007)
I have understood that these souls express a sincere desire to be united mystically with Christ. God compensates, wherever necessary, with the extraordinary intervention of baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire.
“Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire can reach every soul. In this way, God gives everyone of good will the same possibility of accessing a life of grace, that you of the Earth are given ordinarily, by means of baptism. It would be unjust on God’s part not to guarantee, for example, for a soul of purgatory, the same possibility that man has on Earth. By means of this baptism, the Holy Spirit intervenes directly to re-establish a situation of parity, and to give every child who wishes, the same right to be part of God’s kingdom”.
(Saint Raphael the archangel, 11/9/2007)
Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire does not contrast with baptism as we know it.
“It is not a sacrament that is different from the baptism that the Church administers on earth. It is the same grace that operates in a different form, capable of reaching the highest possible number of souls.
Baptismal grace confirms man’s yes to God, by means of Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit. The weak man, who is stained by original sin, undermined by Satan on all sides, could not put up with the fight against evil without the grace of baptism. It is the tool through which man is purified, and his yes is protected and made operational.
This is valid for the living and the dead, because the soul is eternally alive. Memory, intellect and will reside in the soul, without which man cannot decide for God. Some people decide to live according to Christ during their earthly life. Many others don’t because they have not even known him, and the majority of them have no fault. He reflects: how many people die every day without having known Jesus Christ? Yet every man is obliged to pass through the death and resurrection of Christ. Everyone must wash himself in the blood of the Lamb to be saved, without exception, be he living or dead. Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is an excellent tool of God’s Mercy foreseen for this era, granted to humanity as a last possibility for welcoming Jesus Christ and subjecting ourselves to Him, before it is too late”.
(St. Raphael archangel, 22.05.07)
A fundamental mission of God’s people
I was told that every person who gives himself to God, through our Blessed Mother Mary, becomes an immense channel that is open to the Holy Spirit. God sends his help to all those who need it. We are not the ones who seek souls, it is the Holy Spirit who directs them towards the channels that He has chosen. Each of us is the temple of the living God, if we belong to him. If we pray sincerely, if we lovingly and worthily participate in Mass, by the grace of God and with his permission, we are visited by many souls who seek a temple of the living God. Among these, many people desire baptism.
This is the mission of God’s people, who form the Church, according to the commandments received from the Lord: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…”6. This is what I have done over the years and what I continue to do, without any interest apart from that of helping my neighbour to find life in God.
God confirmed all of this to me through several people. Unknown to each other, these people received similar revelations, that is, to baptise souls in the Holy Spirit and fire. I have a particular recollection of a four year old child, who affirmed that he saw the souls of other children who asked him for baptism. Several priests also told me that they consciously baptise aborted babies. This is my experience, the only aim of which is to bear witness to the reality that the Spirit wished to reveal to me.
