By Stefania Caterina and Fr. Tomislav Vlašić
Father Tomislav: Dearest Brothers and Sisters; we are beginning with a cycle of reflections with the title “The New Man in Christ”. This is our introductory session, and from the beginning of Lent we will make a reflection every week.
All of you who have followed this path have received the messages, and you have understood the programme to follow; naturally we can live the programme every day and increasingly profoundly. In any case, the revelations that have been given to us are concluded; we do not prevent God and his instruments from intervening but the work is done. On this path, especially the one of this year full of grace, we have to move faster. As we said, this is the centenary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, and it is full of grace; what has began at Fatima, which has not even been fully expressed by the seers, has to come out.
Thus our key points are: the recapitulation in Christ of all things in the universe. Man is the central point. Jesus Christ speaks to man to take creation too to newness through man, through humanity. Thus, we speak about the new man in Christ; but when we speak about the new man in Christ we do not mean only the single individual but the whole joining people. We have spoken about this last year: the people who joins and is integrated automatically in the whole people of the whole universe, in the Church of the universe, participates in the work of God; then we all go towards the new creation where we will be the family of God.
It is important to underline one aspect, as the Church says: the Mother of God is a member of the Church, but She is the member par excellence, the Mother of our life and Her face must shine too in this time and be emerge within the whole humanity.
In addition to these very important aspects that give us great joy, there are the evil man and the spirit of Lucifer which will appear particularly in the form of the False Prophet and the Antichrist. The new people must awaken in the Holy Spirit to become able to discern, see and act. However, the opposition will be between the new humanity and the humanity belonging to Lucifer drawn by the False Prophet and the Antichrist.
We are not aware of being suffocated by the spirit of Lucifer; we cannot wake up forcefully because of his influence on us. We notice only vaguely that we are put in many cages and structures, which constrict us, while we think that this is our normal life and while Jesus Christ is put in a corner among men of the past. Yet, He will emerge with all His power, and His glorious revelation we believe in and are preparing for will unleash the wicked man.
“The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”[1]
Stefania Caterina: Dearest Brothers and Sisters; in front of this gloomy, tragic perspective we must first of all remember that we are not alone; we are not alone and certainly not abandoned because God does intervene, and He will always intervene in our favour by making use of His external and also internal action, that is, within us, within man. With this cycle we want to help you understand how God acts in man and how man can and must collaborate in God’s action. We will refer to the Holy Scripture and the revelations we have received, and you will see that they are not in conflict with each other because everything is heading towards a single project which is that of the recapitulation of all things in Christ.
Father Tomislav: We are not alone. We may remain alone if we do not enter in communion with the Holy Spirit, with the Spirit of Christ. If we enter the Spirit of Christ and live according to the laws of the Spirit of Christ, we will enter the universal communion; then the whole Mystical Body of Christ will work with us, protect us and help us so that we can move on fast. However, we have to participate, through Jesus Christ, in everything God does in His mystical Body in the whole universe.
Do not fear, you who believe in these programmes, as from the moment of your conception you are expected to be part of this time, and great graces will be granted to you in this time: do not fear. The important thing is that you set off.
When we enter the universal communion, the Trinitarian power begins to act in each one of us and in our communion here on Earth where there is the rest of the people who are faithful to Jesus Christ; these faithful people to Jesus Christ, who want to renew their faith in Him in this time, are integrated in the people who have been faithful from the beginning of the universe.
Stefania Caterina: At this point we wonder what it is that makes man new, and where do we have to begin in order to be transformed? In fact, the new man is born by a new way of thinking.
Listen to the words of St. Paul in the letter to the Romans in chapter 2:1-3: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.”
Thus, brothers and sisters, you may see that St. Paul speaks about the transformation of our mind; he says that we have to let God transform our mind. He also gives us an explanation: when we offer ourselves to God as a living sacrifice, we welcome God within us; He will come into us, act in us and transmit His thoughts to us. Jesus, to whom we have offered our life through Mary, will transmit His thoughts to us and enable us to discern the will of God, to recognize what is good and suitable for us, to judge ourselves in the right way without being too hard or too soft and without over- or underestimating ourselves. This takes place because God gives us the right measure of everything when His mind is united with our mind; then our mind begins to work in harmony with the mind of God who sees things in a different way, who judges according to different principles, who sees what we do not see and thus transmits us a new way of observing ourselves and reality.
Father Tomislav: We have to understand well what it means to offer oneself to Jesus Christ through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Christ is united with the Father and does His will. Our offering in every situation elevates us to the will of the Father and enables us to welcome the will of the Father; then, the thought of the Son of God is impressed in us, but also the thought of the Father and the Holy Spirit, and then grace begins to act. We have explained that the mind of God thinks and acts in unison. We are called to awaken in this power. When our offering is free in every situation, difficulty or even joy, we rise up with Christ to the Father, and in doing so we become like Christ and the Father impresses His thoughts in us, which are the same thoughts He impressed, from the beginning, into our identity and our mission. And the Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ, awakens that power so that we begin to think and act more and more in harmony with the power of Christ. Thus, the Holy Trinity acts within us and we participate in this action.
From the beginning of Lent, particularly until the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, we are committed to prepare you every week to do a step ahead; in each step we want to renew our alliance with God, through Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit. These passages will elevate us, and the Trinitarian power will be able to act in us, transform us and enable us to face death, evil and the provocations we will experience. In this sense God wants to wake us up in this year and prepare us to bear witness, to face the evil person inside us, first of all inside us, and then around us with the Trinitarian power.
We do not want to stretch this reflection. We would rather invite you to reflect and prepare yourselves for this path we begin before Lent so that you can go through every week of Lent with us and do your steps towards the Easter passage that makes us free and redeemed within, and then continue along Easter time to experience the Trinitarian power in us. We will pray for you and we offer ourselves for you.
We bless you all and we will keep blessing you in every situation so that you may feel our presence in spirit, so that you may perceive and experience the presence of the sublime instruments, Mary Most Holy and St. Joseph, the extraordinary and ordinary instruments so that the people of God may be united in the Trinitarian Spirit in the Church Jesus Christ wanted from the beginning; in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
