The Presentation of Jesus at the Temple

2 February 2019

Father Tomislav: Dearest Brothers and Sisters; I wish you all a good Feast of the Purification, the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus by the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph. In this feast the light of God, Jesus Christ, manifested itself, that is, the truth of God.

As we have said, in this year we are particularly called to participate in the feasts together with the whole Church of the universe, the saints, the angels, the brothers and sisters faithful to God and all believers in Jesus Christ in the whole universe. We have heard that the Church of the whole universe is focused on Earth, and now it is time for the believers of the Earth to take their position, present themselves in the Temple of God, profess their faith and give true testimony to the whole of humanity. In this work the faithful brothers and sisters of the universe, the living and the deceased, will support us.

It is fundamental that all those who believe in Jesus Christ, in the One and Triune God and in life in the whole universe take their position. The only thing we are asked to do is to profess what the Church announced during twenty centuries, but we have to do it in communion with the whole universe.

We are celebrating the Feast of the Purification. At the beginning of this year St. Michael told us that the great purification of the Earth begins, and it will start with the believers in Jesus Christ.

St. Luke speaks of their purification: “When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord  (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, ‘Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord’),  and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: ‘a pair of doves or two young pigeons’” (Lk 2,22-40). How could Mary be purified, She who is immaculate? She is immaculate in view of the presentation of the Lord, His death and His resurrection. She offered Her Son in the temple as a sacrifice. Think about it, women and mothers, what it means to enter the church and present your children believing that they totally belong to God and having no expectations from them at all. This is normal for the faithful brothers in the universe, and it begins at the moment of conception. Already in their childhood the children are presented to God, as they do not belong to the parents but to God so that God may guide them.

Mary is also the Mother of the Church, and in this day She gathers all the children of God, all believers, around Her to present them to God so that especially all adult believers may say:I want to belong unconditionally to the One and Triune God through Jesus Christ. God will be the centre of my life. I present my children and the humanity of the Earth, along with all the troubles it experiences, so that all those who are of good will are inspired to serve the true and living God.”

Today is the day to be purified like Mary if we want it; the Church also speaks of her purification, of her path towards the new creation and towards the manifestation of Jesus Christ. But in this year our decision must be true, deep, concrete and decisive to enable the powerful light of the Most Holy Trinity to illuminate the Church that wants to belong to the One and Triune God and is united with all the children of God in the whole universe, the living and the deceased, to form her glorious Body. Then you may understand that the Church can only be prepared to welcome Jesus Christ through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. She presents Him to God the Father as the only instrument of reconciliation with the One and Triune God. The Church has to eliminate all manipulations and all sins, presenting her weaknesses so that the Church is purified and elevated to the Trinitarian life, as the whole Church must be animated by the Trinitarian Love in the Holy Spirit.

In the first reading of the prophet Malachi it says: “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,’ says the Lord Almighty” (Mal 3,1-4). Who is that messenger? We have said that the precursor of the second coming of Jesus Christ is St. Michael. But St. Michael prepares the whole Church of the universe with his army; therefore, the Church of the universe must become a messenger, be a pulsating cell of the Trinitarian life which challenges all spirits of evil and not only weakens them but also expels them from humanity. This is the task of the Church of the whole universe.

The Church of the whole universe, the Archangels, the angels, the faithful brothers and the saints have started a powerful action on Earth; the true believers will feel its benefit. Those who want to resist it will suffer; those who oppose the One and Triune God will fall and be abandoned. This is the purification that will lead to the new creation, to a new eternal life which we seek and desire profoundly, but we must emerge like the spring: free and determined to live a new life and give testimony of this new life.

We are used to seeing Mary Most Holy presenting Her Son. There is a silent and forgotten testimony to the Mother who presents Her Son as she is fully united with Him in this offering: St. Joseph. He is not Jesus’ blood father but he welcomes the Son of God through Her. Through the immaculateness of Mary he, who is pure, adheres to her Immaculateness. Together with Her he welcomes the One who purifies the Earth and the whole universe. Through the acceptance of a woman who carries a child in her womb – which is not an insignificant act for a man, and St. Joseph recognised the child as his own – Our Lady, the Most Blessed Virgin Mary becomes his spouse. His example shows to us how we can welcome Jesus Christ through the Blessed Mother, Mary Immaculate.

So what is our evangelisation on Earth? First of all, it is the presentation of ourselves in the temple of God, in the way the Blessed Mother presented Herself with St. Joseph, united in the offering of Christ to God. And you have heard what happened: the righteous of the Old Testament were enlightened: St. Simeon and St. Anne. Many people will be enlightened on Earth, in the Church and outside the Church, of many religions and many ideologies. If the Church of the whole universe – I mean the part of the Church of the Earth that belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of the Whole Universe – if this Church lives the presentation every time it enters the temple, that is, the temple within each person, in the soul, in the temple where Jesus Christ is Eucharistic, the light will enlighten the whole universe. Only when we carry the energy of the light, our words, our rituals, our deeds will transmit light.

There is another aspect shown by the letter to the Hebrews: Jesus shared in our humanity.[1] The Son of God has shared all suffering with us and has defeated death within us; death, the source of fear, despair and emptiness. Death causes the man who does not believe to experience total emptiness, and this emptiness is the root of all our troubles. Therefore, the people of Jesus Christ in the Church of the whole universe must become like Christ and like Holy Mary. We are already in trouble; the troubles will become more and more visible. The people of God must recognise these troubles and present the consequences to God; they must give themselves over to God so that Jesus Christ, the only Mediator, the only Saviour, may heal humanity. Thus, the Church becomes His Mystical Body. But that is not a Church that proclaims the truths while the deeds are questionable. It is a Church that welcomes Jesus Christ as the Redeemer in her body and in her communion; a Church in which the Eucharist is alive like Jesus Christ was when He passed from death to life. Every celebration shall have this effect on each one of us and for the benefit of all humanity.

This is the truth that the whole universe is waiting to receive from the Earth, from the believers of the Earth. So, those who hear these words shall place themselves next to all those who have chosen to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of the whole universe to open the way to the coming of the glorious Christ. In the antiphon of this feast the glorious manifestation of Christ is highlighted.[4] If we do not take this in consideration everything on Earth becomes meaningless. Take courage, you who believe; let us go through this year together, united in our abandonment to God; let us strengthen this union so that this union among us in the Holy Spirit may unite the whole Church of the universe and all children of God; when all this is accomplished through the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ, then we will be ready to enter the new creation.

I bless you; may the this feast enlighten each one of you so that you become ready to live and testimony the Salvation with generosity, and to present all those who are of good will so that they are enlightened, that is, guided towards the light of Christ. I bless you; may this light enlighten the Earth and the universe every day more; in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
