Jubilee Year

We are approaching Our Lady’s birthday, 5 August. One of the things we have always announced from this site, from this Church, from the Church of Jesus Christ of the Universe, is the centrality of Mary Most Holy. “My Church will be Marian or it will not be My Church” says Jesus¹.

The apparitions of Medjugorje are not simply apparitions. The apparitions of Medjugorje were the culmination of the whole journey, of the whole proclamation starting with Jesus Christ, from His first return to the last times that have already begun and are running fast. Mary appears for the last time, She withdraws into the Holy Trinity and She withdraws into the midst of Her Church². She has done what She had to do and stands before the throne of God for every son and daughter of God that She has generated. Now She must allow the Lord Jesus and the Trinitarian power, which is fully in action through the Church of Jesus Christ of the Universe, to recuperate all that has been sown. It is the time of the harvest.

I say this because by now, in this accompaniment that we have received from God, that we have received from Mary Most Holy, we have understood the centrality of the month of August, with the birthday of Mary Most Holy and Her Assumption on the 15th. But over the years we have seen that many solemnities have developed around Her, not just festivities. There is the Transfiguration of Jesus on the 6th, the feast of God the Father on the 7th of August, which we instituted on Her instructions, the Curé d’Ars on the 4th. Then, I will not mention all the dates as I do not want to get them wrong, but I know that we remember Maximilian Kolbe³, Edith Stein⁴, St Clare⁵, St Laurence⁶. Many of these saints are in the Central Nucleus and perhaps not by chance.

Also on the indications of God the Father, in recent years we have consecrated the Earth to God the Father in 2019, on 4 August⁷, and we were told, precisely by God the Father, that our liturgical year – we were told a few years ago even though we may not have taken it in its fullness – begins on 7 August⁸ and has as its heart the feast of the Assumption on the 15th. Why is that? Because in these last times the liturgical year must begin in this dimension of the elevation to heaven of the children of God who resurrect, who enter the New Creation and who begin already from here to desire the New Creation and try to live it. The liturgical year starts with the Assumption, which for us, as for Mary Most Holy, is equivalent to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It would be like starting on Easter Day, except that Jesus was resurrected, Mary was assumed. Do you understand what I mean?

In these last few days we have been told by Jesus, and also by Mary Most Holy, that for us, for the Church,

His Church, which is not against the other Churches, absolutely – it is His Church, but which has now, with St Michael at its head, taken over the reins and the direction of the whole universe – the Jubilee Year begins on 7 August. Therefore, the Liturgical Year begins precisely connected to what I have told you,.

We were asked to live our Liturgies, our Sacraments, and I say again, not against, but in favour of the others. It is simply to continue to live, to bear witness to what we have received for the benefit of all those who call themselves Christians and want to be Christians, and want to discover what it is to be children of God wherever they are.

So, on that day, 7 August, we will open our Holy Door. It is the Door of Light which is located in the amphitheatre of the Sanctuary “The Face of Mary”, the portal, in Medjugorje. We will open it in all our sanctuaries. Every door will be a Holy Door, every Holy Mass will be a passage of many souls whom we must help with our priesthood. Because what is the Jubilee? A year of grace, a year of mercy, a year in which indulgences are granted in an extraordinary way. But, if we look at its heart, the Jubilee is a restart, it is a chance that God gives man once again to start afresh to seek Christ, to start afresh to put the life of God at the centre, to put the figure of Jesus at the centre who leads us to the Father in the Holy Spirit.

It is to start saying again: “I have understood. I have finally understood what it means to be children of God, what Jesus has done for me”. This is a Jubilee; not to erase some sin. We also feast the forgiveness of Assisi on the 2nd of August: you receive indulgences there too. But if indulgences are used to erase some sin but not to transform life into a gift of joy for God, I do not say they are useless, but it would mean using 20 per cent of all the graces we have been given and not 100 per cent.

So, it is with joy that we invite whoever wants to participate in this Jubilee from 7 August onwards, we invite him to prepare for this Jubilee. We also invite him to think about coming to Medjugorje and pass through that door in this year. But not for himself, but as a priest in his royal priesthood, and in his originality, in his identity, in his limitedness, with his joys and gifts to help a flood of souls to pass through that door.

Jesus said, when He asked us to institute the Jubilee on 7 August, that in this year He, together with all those who would like to accompany Him in their priesthood, would like to go and recuperate all that is recuperable. This is the Jubilee. I explain it in His own words what it is. From the Gospel according to Luke: «The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour».⁹

It is a year in which the Lord will be very favourable and available to all spiritual healing, which, as a consequence, will also entail physical healing, if the soul heals. This is the Jubilee. I am saying something big, and I hope you will not burn me immediately: The three years of Jesus’ public life were a three-year Jubilee that lasts forever, an eternal Jubilee. He came to set the captives free, He came to bring light, He came to bring life, and it lasts. The graces given on these occasions are extraordinary graces.

In 2019 the Holy Spirit told us the same things. I read:

“Today I powerfully descend on you to consecrate you to the action and the work of God. Through you I descend on Earth to purify it from evil. Through this little remnant and those who are connected to you — who are many more than you would think — in communion with the whole Church of Jesus Christ of the Universe, I bring the work of the Most Holy Trinity to completion. I pass beyond your limits and your insecurity and make of you an accomplished work, beyond all your shortcomings. Your ‘yes’ and your faithfulness are enough for Me; the decision to move forward without fear and without compromises.

Through you I come to Earth to take back what belongs to Me. I take back what Satan has stolen from Me: the children of God that are lost in the confusion of the world; those who love the true God, even without knowing Him, and live as righteous people; those who do not follow the laws of the world but the laws of God that are impressed in them since conception; those who have accepted the sacrifice to incarnate among pagan peoples and different religions, which caused them great suffering and sacrifices. I repeat to you: I come to take back what belongs to Me. I will snatch from the hands of the enemy all those who seek the truth. Only in God is truth; in the true God who is the Most Holy Trinity.

I come with power to give back to the Earth the love of the Father, the teachings of Jesus Christ and My will. My will translates into dynamic and powerful action, which unfolds through My people, for God always and only acts through the people.

Be aware of all this, because I want to make use of you to reach even the least on Earth that is of good will. You will be My eyes, My hands, My feet which incessantly walk this Earth. It does not matter where you are because your spirit has no borders. Once you are immersed in Me, you become men and women without space and time as you enter different dimensions where the enemy can no longer reach you, and where all is filled with harmony, peace and goodness.

I want to make of you a holy and precious people in the eyes of God. I have the power to do it and I will do it, but I need your faithfulness, your ‘yes’, day after day. I do not ask anything else. Leave to me all your hardships, problems, illnesses and uncertainties. I can heal you and give you the resurrection of Christ. Give me your total and sincere ‘yes’; I will do everything else. Help Me recuperate what is Mine.”¹⁰

This is our Jubilee.

And may Mary Most Holy descend with Her love, with Her blessing, with Her light into each one of you, may She descend to prepare all those extraordinary graces that we will receive in this Jubilee to prepare us for life and resurrection, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
